The Mini is Back in Force

Mini cars, originally launched with great gusto and popularity in the 1960’s, have come back into the market with a vengeance some 40 years on – what a revival. The Mini Cooper evokes memories of an age of motoring without all the toys of today but with the flare of the sports car, and with the now old ‘boy racers’ putting spacers on the wheels and souping up even the sportiest models.

The Mini One, the revived and slightly more basic model, has a good ride and brilliant handling. It looks great, too, and has low running costs, with strong residual values, albeit the standard kit is pretty miserly and the interior materials feel cheaper than the Cooper's. Some would argue that the boot is tiny and some of the controls are too fiddly.

But if you are looking to change your car and you are looking amongst the more economical ranges, why not consider a used mini one car ?
