Fiat is an Italian Car manufacturer, originally founded in Turin in 1899. Since then Fiat have gone on to become Italy’s largest car-maker, and the sixth largest in the world.

From the mid 60’s to late 70’s, the Fiat 124 was one of the most popular mid-sized family cars available. It was later used as the blueprint for the infamous Russian Lada car. The Fiat 127, in its various series, became a popular supermini after it was first introduced throughout the 70‘s and 80‘s.

The Fiat Uno became a more recent success in the supermini range, followed by the Fiat Tipo, a small family car, and the Fiat Punto, first launched as the replacement for the Uno in 1994.
